What we do
Each year, we receive a list of placements allocated to Sudan by the UWC International Office. Given the limited number of placements and the geographic and cultural diversity of Sudan, we are committed to reaching students from across the country. We actively encourage applications from all regions and communities, ensuring our outreach is inclusive and accessible.
We are responsible not only for identifying and selecting candidates based on merit, but also for guiding them through the application, interview, and nomination stages. Our work includes outreach to schools, organizing information sessions, managing application reviews, conducting interviews, and supporting nominated students as they prepare to attend their respective UWC colleges.
Selections are made solely on merit, with no consideration of race, ethnicity, gender, religious background, or financial status. Thanks to UWC’s generous scholarship programs, we are able to ensure that financial limitations do not prevent any qualified student from attending.
At our core, we believe in the transformative power of education and the role UWC plays in shaping compassionate, committed young leaders. Our mission is to find, support, and empower Sudanese youth who are ready to embrace this challenge and represent Sudan on a global stage.
